When it comes to cocktails in Mother Russia, vodka is where it’s at! Vodka, my favorite liquor of all, originated in Eastern Europe. And according to different sources, the first production was either in Poland in the 8th century or in the area of today’s Russia in the late 9th century. Now, I know this will seem…exspected…but I have a new Master in my life. OH! And he drinks—you guessed it— Vodka.
In The Master, by Kresley Cole, The main character Maksimilian (Maxím) Sevastyan is a devastatingly handsome billionaire who usually prefers tall obedient blondes to fulfill his…singular BDSM desires. Maxím has a routine— a script he follows with each scheduled sexual encounter (female escorts only) …until he meets Catarina (Cat) Marin. Cat’s a little Latino spitfire that has just enough spunk to stop the big scary Russian Dominant in his tracks and question “What are you doing to me?”
This book is hot! Seriously HOT! So whilst reading it, I needed something to cool me down. That is how The Moscow Master came to be…In my hand…While reading this book.
- 2 oz Vodka (Use Russian vodka)
- ½ oz Freshly squeezed lime juice
- 5 oz Ginger beer
- Mint and lime for garnish
- Fill a copper mug with ice.
- Pour in vodka, lime juice, and ginger beer.
- Stir to combine all the ingredients.
- Add fresh mint sprigs and lime slices as a garnish and to give it a little hint of mint flavor.
This is the best part. Drinking The Moscow Master is an easy treat. Just sit, sip, and submit to its awesome deliciousness.
